Pest problems can vary heavily. From your small and controllable infestations to your widespread colonies, the art of pest management can be vast and tricky. With over 10 years in the industry, our team is well-aware of the common obstacles that homes, commercial spaces, and even industrial facilities face. Despite these, we have never felt defeated. We take each challenge on with newfound motivation and a thirst to better our pest removal services over time, being one with the developments and staying on top of the latest research.

Multiple components play a role in the rate of pest activity in a given city. Apart from its natural landscape, the quality of its soil and whether or not climate change has been forgiving in the area are other elements to consider. The influx of invasive pests, congregating with our local species and expanding populations beyond what we’ve seen before, is another thing to factor in. Lastly, the widespread availability of commercial insecticides has proven to backfire with the emergence of more resilient bugs, allowing these critters to develop immunity and a strong resistance to many household products. This, among many other reasons, is why we recommend partnering with local exterminators that can get the job done with science-backed methods and the latest professional-grade products in town.

About Plumerville, AR

Back in the 1800s, the main form of transportation was by horse and carriage for private commutes, and stagecoaches and trains for public use. However, many lands were still under development, which led to residents from nearby areas moving to find easier ways to travel. The community that originally expanded in the Harrisburg-Portland bottomland, for example, had gone to the area that we now know as Plumerville in the hopes of following the state’s stagecoach and railroad advancements. That’s how our city got its early settlers.

It was in this space that a man named Samuel Plumer opened up Plumer’s Station, a well-known stagecoach stop. He had previously gone to the area and purchased almost 200 acres of land north of the Arkansas River. There, locals saw the development of the Military Road that connected Little Rock to Fort Smith, as well as the fabrication of telegraph lines. The railroad eventually required right-of-way from Plumer in order to prevent the overflow when foot traffic surged. His mutual support led to his station being recognized as a full stop on the developed rail line.

Fast forward, the rail line significantly boosted the economic and agricultural sectors in the area, eventually leading to the incorporation of the city of Plumerville in 1880. Today, the city of Plumerville is known to be a quiet residential area that thrives on row-crop farming operations and other nature-centered activities. The community is provided with several services that help maintain a good quality of life, including access to a reliable pest control company like Evo Pest Control.

No, the varying species of rodents in Arkansas surpass those of rats and mice. These two are the most common ones found in Plumerville and are the universally known types of rodents, but other breeds sometimes found in Arkansas include squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, beavers, muskrats, and voles.
Yes, rodents can be a fire hazard, especially rats and mice that like to frequent the interiors. They can cause flames to erupt when they get into the electrical wiring and start gnawing at all they see. This behavior is widespread and can lead to short circuits, sparking, and eventually, fires.
Web removal is an important step to pest control in Plumerville, AR, because it effectively helps technicians remove egg sacs and spiderlings from the property. This guarantees that we not only remove adult spiders but also their growing population. Moreover, by removing spider webs during each visit, we can easily see signs of new generations when another one pops up in the corner.
Two principal breeds are considered to be the most threatening, which are the brown recluse and the black widow. They both unleash venomous bites when they feel threatened, which results in severe reactions, tissue damage, organ failure, and, on rare occasions, even fatalities.
There are many stinging insects local to Arkansas. There are paper wasps, yellow jackets, bald-faced hornets, European hornets, honeybees, and carpenter bees. Some also consider fire ants and harvester ants as stinging insects, as these are more infamous for using their venomous stingers rather than their painful mandibles.
